Shawn McCreight founded Guidance Software, Inc. in November 1997 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception. From January 2003 to present he has served as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to January 2003, he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

McCreight has extensive experience in the design and development of software programs and applications, and was the principal developer of Guidance Software’s EnCase® software. He continues to develop the products that drive Guidance Software’s success in digital investigations solutions. McCreight received his bachelor of arts in physics from the University of California, Berkeley.

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Victor Limongelli is responsible for strategic planning and initiatives, making recommendations to the Board of Directors and managing the company's growth mission and operational objectives. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Limongelli joined Guidance Software as General Counsel, where he specialized in privacy issues, incident response and digital evidence. He has also served as Vice President of Professional Services where he oversaw the company's renowned computer investigation team, providing incident response and computer forensic services to corporate, government and legal clients worldwide. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Limongelli led Guidance Software's worldwide operations as the company's President and is credited with formulating and overseeing its highly-successful eDiscovery strategy. Before moving in-house, Limongelli was associated with the national law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he practiced with a technology company-focus which has a particular emphasis on licensing and venture capital. His accomplishments with the firm include arguing (and winning) a case before the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his juris doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a James Kent Scholar, and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He has written numerous white papers and articles on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry standards governing information security, and has spoken at many notable conferences.

Barry Plaga is Chief Financial Officer of Guidance Software. He oversees the company's worldwide financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury and tax functions.

Plaga has more than 20 years of financial and operational experience. Prior to joining Guidance Software, he served two years as Vice President of Financial Global Processes at Sun Microsystems, Inc., where he oversaw financial planning and forecasting, finance program management and the finance components of Sun's Oracle ERP project. He joined Sun Microsystems through the acquisition of SeeBeyond Technology Corp., a public software technology company where he served six years as Chief Financial Officer. At SeeBeyond he was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, legal, information technology, human resources, administration and facilities. Additionally, he helped lead the company through its initial public offering, secondary offering and eventual sale to Sun for nearly $400 million. Prior to SeeBeyond, Plaga held various roles including Chief Financial Officer at Activision, Inc. and Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Plaga received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California. He is also a certified public accountant.

Bringing 15 years of business and legal experience to his position, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel, Mark E. Harrington oversees worldwide legal responsibility for the Company. Previously, Harrington held the position of Associate General Counsel where he managed a variety of legal matters including licensing, insurance, intellectual property, export compliance, marketing, litigation and general corporate activities.

Prior to joining Guidance Software, Harrington was a Senior Attorney at Intel Corporation where he worked on complex intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Harrington also worked on electronic discovery and litigation matters for the law firm of Munger, Tolles and Olson in Los Angeles. Harrington received his juris doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Los Angeles Community College District and Vice President of the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Additionally, he frequently lectures at colleges, industry conferences and has written on a wide range of legal issues relating to business law, mergers and acquisitions, protecting corporate assets and intellectual property.

Larry Gill is Senior Vice President of Sales at Guidance Software. He was previously Vice President of Marketing.

Before joining Guidance Software, Gill was Marketing Director at Aspen Technology, Inc. In his six years with AspenTech, he held a variety of director-level roles including Director of Business Development, where he developed the go-to-market strategy for a diverse line of enterprise software products and supported professional services. He joined AspenTech through the acquisition of Petrolsoft, Inc. During his tenure with Petrolsoft Inc., a privately held software technology company, Gill was Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He hired, trained and led a global sales and marketing team, expanding operations into both EMEA and APAC. The company was twice recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States. Before Petrolsoft, Gill was a top-performing sales and marketing manager with Oce-USA, Inc. and was also a two-time combat veteran serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Gill holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and is certified with Pragmatic Marketing.

Alex Andrianopoulos is Vice President of Marketing at Guidance Software. He is responsible for the Company’s worldwide marketing strategy and execution of product marketing, content marketing, Web marketing, demand generation and lead management, public and analyst relations, and events.

Previously, Andrianopoulos was Vice President of Fusion Middleware Product Marketing at Oracle, where he was responsible for leading the marketing efforts for Oracle’s Fusion Middleware and Java line of products. Prior to Oracle, Andrianopoulos held senior management roles in the middleware space with both Sun Microsystems and SeeBeyond, with direct responsibility for guiding and managing the strategic direction of Sun’s and SeeBeyond’s middleware products. Before SeeBeyond, he held positions in the marketing and sales organization of various companies, including MineShare, a business intelligence vendor where he served as the Director of Product Management. He also setup and ran a key practice area at consulting firm Technology Solutions Company and held positions in the sales organizations at Arbor Software. Andrianopoulos holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Engineering University in Athens, Greece, and an MBA in Management Information Systems and Marketing from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.

Allison Ash is vice president of worldwide channel sales at Guidance Software. She is responsible for building and directing channel strategy and programs for the leader in digital investigations.

Previously Ash was senior director of worldwide channel sales at Proofpoint, Inc., a provider of email security and data leak prevention solutions where she added more than 100 security-focused reseller relationships nationwide. Prior to Proofpoint, she was senior director of channel sales at email security provider Postini, Inc., where she built an indirect channel from the ground up that added another source for new business revenue. Ash has held a sales leadership at various other technology companies including Allocity, Digital Island, PictureTel, Compression Labs and Hewlett Packard. Ash has held leadership positions in technology sales for about thirty years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado.

Amanda Berger is Vice President of Professional Services at Guidance software. She oversees all professional services offerings, programs, and methodologies and is responsible for ensuring customer success with Guidance Software products through onsite technical services and business practices advisory.

Prior to joining Guidance Software, Berger served as Vice President of Professional Services, Americas, at MicroStrategy, Inc. where she helped double Professional Services revenue for the Americas region during her tenure. In this capacity, Amanda managed a team of approximately 200 employees in North and South America and was instrumental in developing new consulting offerings, such as Advisory Services, Industry Practices and Global Delivery Centers. Additionally, Berger played a key role in securing many Fortune 1000 customers for MicroStrategy, including several of the top banks and retailers. Berger received her bachelor of arts from Occidental College. She has been active in many professional services organizations and in public speaking for organizations such as TPSA.

Ken Basore is Vice President of Research and Development at Guidance Software. A twenty year veteran of law enforcement and a twelve year expert in computer forensics, he directs the development of the company's software products and supervises the Research, EnScript, QA and Technical Support departments. In his career, Basore has overseen nearly 1,500 investigations and has extensive experience in the development and operation of computer forensic laboratories. His investigations have included financial crimes, narcotics, child exploitation, homicide and terrorism; and he has testified as an expert in both computer forensic investigations and computer forensic laboratory policies and procedures.

A police officer for 17 years, Basore was responsible for the development of the first Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory in San Diego, California where he supervised 16 investigators from various federal, state and local law enforcement facilities. In 2001, Basore won the "Police Officer of the Year" award from the El Cajon, California Police Department. Basore is a certified Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist, a Federal Bureau of Investigation-Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) forensic examiner and an EnCase Certified Examiner. He is also a member of the High Technology Crime and Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).

Daniel Lim is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Guidance Software. He consults with corporate and government clients on e-discovery, privacy, and digital investigations.

He also speaks regularly on legal issues pertaining e-discovery, privacy, and security. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Lim was an attorney at Jones Day. As a member of the firm’s e-discovery committee, he oversaw the collection, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI). Lim's practice included complex commercial litigation for large organizations and assisting major energy companies with government investigations. Lim is a graduate of Columbia Law School and has clerked for the Honorable Vanessa Gilmore, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, Houston Division.

Sandy Gyenes is Vice President of Human Resources at Guidance Software. She leads the worldwide human resources team, working closely with the senior management team on strategic and functional workforce issues. She is responsible for the company's organizational culture, succession planning, performance improvement strategies, employee motivation and reward systems.

Gyenes has more than twenty years of experience. Prior to joining Guidance Software, she was the Executive Director of Human Resources for American Golf Corporation with responsibility for 350 public and private golf courses and clubs, employing 27,000 employees worldwide. She has experience managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, organizational development, employee relations, compliance, policy development, compensation and benefits. Gyenes received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science/sociology from Loyola Marymount University.

Al Hobbs is Vice President of Professional Development and Training Operations at Guidance Software. He oversees the growth and operations of the company’s worldwide technology and methodology training programs and certifications.

Under his leadership, Professional Development and Training has experienced steady revenue and student growth as well as geographic and curriculum expansion. Specifically, Hobbs led the company’s expansion of methodology-based training programs into more than 45 countries, and more than 15 languages. The highly successful EnCase OnDemand® training and EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner (EnCEP®) certification were also developed under his leadership. Hobbs joined Guidance Software in 1999 as a computer forensic trainer and has trained thousands of professionals worldwide. He is often called upon to provide expert witness testimony. Hobbs has held various positions at Guidance Software, including, Master Instructor, Course Developer and Director. Hobbs is a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired police detective with more than 28 years of experience working all aspects of law enforcement in or with local, county, state and federal law enforcement with more than 10 years of computer-based investigations. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of computer forensics and digital investigations, as well as collection of digital evidence. He has received numerous awards throughout his law enforcement and military career, including medals of: Valor, Officer of the Year, Illinois Heroism and numerous other commendations. Hobbs holds multiple certifications including EnCE® and EnCEP. He has published numerous papers through forensic organizations and was a contributing member in the creation of the “Forensic Examination of Digital Evidence: A Guide for Law Enforcement” published by the NIJ, U.S. Department of Justice.
