Insider Trading Exposed In a matter of hours with EnCase Enterprise A U.S.-based multinational financial institution suspected two employees in its Bangkok office of insider trading. Rapid response was required. Using network-enabled computer forensics, the financial institution — working remotely from New York — imaged the hard drives of the two suspects in Bangkok and transferred the data to New York. After analyzing the data, the financial institution determined that one of the employees was not involved and that the other employee’s activities warranted further action. The reaction and investigation time was a matter of hours.
